Inside sources have confirmed that French forward David Ngog is heading to Merseyside to undergo a medical.

Liverpool are paying Paris Saint Germain around £1.5million for the highly-rated 19-year-old who has already agreed personal terms with chief executive Rick Parry.

We're informed that Ngog was in Liverpool last week but returned home to enjoy a meal with his family to celebrate his dream move to Anfield.
